2018 foi um ano de menos fulgor para o mercado das bombas de calor. É isso que aponta um relatório publicado pela britânica BSRIA – Building Services Research and Information Association.
De acordo com o documento, em 2017, a venda das bombas de calor registou um aumento de 18 %, mas, no ano passado, o mercado caiu cerca de 3,3 % em termos de volume.
Este recuo nas vendas de bombas de calor estará ligado à desaceleração da economia chinesa. Segundo Aline Breslauer, analista da BSRIA, “a recente guerra comercial entre os Estados Unidos e a China colocou mais pressão na expansão económica local, levando a um aumento dos preços dos materiais e a um crescimento lento no mercado de construção nova”. Para além disso, tem havido uma forte concorrência dos fabricantes de caldeiras a gás, apesar do apoio ao mercado das bombas de calor, que são essenciais para a redução das emissões de dióxido de carbono na China.
Ainda assim, o mercado europeu segue numa tendência de subida. De acordo com a analista da BSRIA, “a venda de bombas de calor, na Europa, cresceu em 2018, atingindo praticamente 650 mil unidades, o que se traduz um aumento de 12,9 % relativamente ao ano anterior”, aumento esse suportado pela alta taxa de vendas de unidades a ar. O grande destaque vai para a Holanda, que viu o crescimento situar-se acima dos 62 %, seguido da República da Irlanda (47 %) e Reino Unido (19,7 %).
