Se, a um painel isolante para cobertura plana ou com pouca inclinação da ISOPAN, for acrescentada, entre outros elementos, uma camada drenante e retentora de água, substrato e uma camada de vegetação tipo Sedum, o resultado é GreenRoof. Com este sistema integrado, a Isopan permite construir de forma rápida e ágil dois tipos de coberturas verdes:
>Semi-intensiva, com um máximo de 20 cm de espessura de substrato que permite cultivar plantas tapizantes e com um peso de entre 150 e 200 kg/m2.
>Extensivas, com uma espessura mínima de 8 cm de substrato com uma formulação especial, este tipo de jardins permite cultivar plantas tapizantes (suculentas) e com um peso máximo saturado de água de 100 kg/m2, que requer uma manutenção mais reduzida e que cria um excelente isolamento.
